Perrenials
We just love perennials. They take so much of the work out of gardening. Our collection has been selected to thrive in Northern Virginia. Perennials are helpers in your garden, they come up each year and provide struture for annuals. To busy to plant a new flower? Plant perrenials once and enjoy them for years to come.
This is our Georgia Blue, this perrenial blooms early spring and loves the sun.
Bleeding Heart is customer favorite. It does well in half sun and blooms in late spring.
Baptisia Purple Smoke is a taller flower that loves the sun. It will bloom early summer.
Hostas
We are huge hosta fans! It's hardy, versatile, and quietly beautiful. Hosta works hard year after year to add structure and variety to your pots and gardens. Plant these reliable specimens once and they will come back every year, providing texture, color, and a wonderful backdrop for your annuals and other perennials
Once they are established, some perennials will grow large enough to divide, giving you a new plant for somewhere else in your yard. Come on in and we'll show you how. Here are a few of our favorites:
A Dragontail Hosta loves a moist soil with some nice shade. This hosta will bloom in July or August and doesn't need much maitnence.
The Blue Mouse Ears Hosta is perfect at the edge of the shade garden or starring in your favorite container.
June Hostas add an unusual color to your plants with its bluish leaves and golden variegation in the center of the leaves.
